Eco-Don traditions

Project idea

The concept of eco-space "ECO-DON TRADITIONS" is inspired by the traditions and peculiarities of the Don region: the fields of the steppes, the bends of the Don River, the traditions of the Don Cossacks. This idea influenced the shaping, composition and color scheme of the park. The selected bio-forms, inspired by the nature of the region, help to reveal the idea of eco-thinking. Green and wheat shades, as well as the use of living vegetation reflect the idea and allow you to introduce a person to nature.

Project description

In order to achieve the goal set: the interest of visitors to environmental problems, the indoor space zones were divided into educational and interactive.
The educational function is realized with the help of a lecture hall, where lectures and meetings on environmental protection are held, as well as with the help of a reading room in which there are books of various genres.
In interactive zones: exhibition, gardening zone – you can look at various bio-art objects and grow a number of crops. The master class area combines an educational and interactive component.
Recreation and catering areas are also provided.

Technical information

The project is a reconstruction of Paramonov warehouses – a five-year historical and cultural monument of federal significance. Therefore, the floor and wall structures are made of lightweight materials, and the roof of the object is a self-supporting structure in the form of trusses.
Such a constructive solution preserves the original appearance of the architectural monument and gives the interior lightness and airiness.
