The main goal of this project is to create comfortable design for a mother and daughter in a small place. To equip the apartment space according to the client's wishes. To show them that in a small space it is possible to accommodate the things necessary for life according to the rules of ergonomics and design.
Owner Tatiana, 38, daughter Margarita, 14. Tatiana owns a small pastry shop, is a keen cook and runs a cooking blog on youtube. Margarita goes to school, studies Japanese and does modern ballet. They love to cook at home and invite friends over for dinners. The owners have a cat.
The client's requirements included two bathrooms: one guest bathroom and one large private bathroom. Owners prefer a shower. Another requirement was to equip both bathrooms with washing machines, so as not to carry things through the apartment and interfere with the shooting of the video.
The owners needed a large kitchen, a place to receive guests and a place for filming the interview (for which they allocated an insulated balcony). Since the area of the apartment is small, they had to give up two private rooms and make a fold-out sofa in one room. This room can be used as a living room and as a bedroom for mom. The living room is separated from the kitchen by glass partitions. They open up and the space becomes bigger. Thus, mom's workspace is located near her bedroom. A video editing room is set up on the insulated balcony. In the room there is a built-in closet for storing clothes, which is spacious enough.
In the kitchen it was decided to install an island for convenience in shooting video. On the island there is an electric stove and a bar table. In the kitchen there is a place for camera tripods and many outlets are installed. It was decided to make the kitchen with accent colors to make it
to make it memorable and attract new subscribers.
Daughter has a private room. It is large enough to provide space for dance classes. The room has a desk by the window and several cupboards for storing books, clothes and ballet uniforms. There are two built-in closets in the hallway: one for storing
clothes and a utility closet.
The style of the apartment is Scandinavian. The main colors are white, wood, black and red (as a color accent). The interior is light. The apartment is quite small, but looks spacious.
Two-bedroom apartment with a total area of 65.08 sq.m. on the 10th floor is intended for permanent residence. The dismantling and installation of the necessary partitions for the further layout of the room was carried out.
The main structure of the premises: kitchen-living room, entrance hall, two bathrooms, private room with access to the wardrobe, insulated balcony.
The project preserves the structural and engineering communications and the existing ventilation system.
