Town planning concept for the development of the city of Kstovo

Project idea

I would like to benefit people by my projects. It's no secret how polluted our habitat is from the ecological point of view. Our food is genetically modified, people get sick with asthmatic diseases more often. All of this is the result of poor ecology. Nowadays we've got lots of industrial zone near or in the city. So, we've got the same problem in city Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. Firstly, more then 12 industrial factories pollute the environment, air, water, soil. The situation is complicated by the wind that blows on the residential development of the city. Secondary, the city is divided into two parts: the historical part (XIV) and the Soviet (1950 y.). There is no comfortable zoning, necessary infrastructure, transport roads in both of parts.

Project description

I propose "to move" the city to its historical place and surround the city with forest. All residential development will be located above the river. Then pollutions from industrial part will not reach the city. Also, we should limit the increase in the area of the industrial part. I propose to transfer all existing industry in the historic city to Soviet part.

Technical information

The project provides for residential development of low and medium-rise buildings. I create pedestrian bridges on the Main Street for walking. The Main Street connects the railway station and the train station.
