The main idea behind the project is to study the Egyptian coastal cities and work on developing these cities and exploiting their suitable locations. Accordingly, the land for the project was chosen in the city of Ras al-Bar, which is a very distinctive city, and the most important thing that distinguishes it is that it is the city where the Nile River (Damietta branch) meets the sea. The Mediterranean, which is called the phenomenon of Marj al-Bahrain, and through the urban and planning study of the city and knowledge of its resources and features, its problems were also studied, and the most important of these problems was that the city is a seasonal city that works on summer activity only, and this had a great influence on the economic situation of the city in a way Bad. Therefore, a future vision was set for the city to be of a recreational tourism nature and also of a cultural nature, which allows people to know the city better and overcome the problem that it is a seasonal city and make visitors and tourists frequent it throughout the year, which makes its economic situation better and also to take advantage of its distinguished location Which makes it a gateway to Egypt from the northeastern coast.
The Aquarium project consists of main zones starting from the outside from the entrance of the project, passing through the safe-keeping room, then to the entrance hall, which contains the ticketing zone and the information desk, as shown in the drawings. To the left of the entrance hall is the administrative building, and to the right is the hall for showing documentaries and cultural events. Then the flight path begins at the main spine. Aquarium tanks were designed and distributed on this spine on the right side, and on the other hand, there is a visual connection from the other spine dedicated to the end of the trip at the end of this spine. Based on the type of ticket, you can enter the open dolphin show, and after completing the show takes the return spine path to complete the trip, But if the ticket is without the dolphin show, you can enter the returning spine directly, passing through the cafeteria with the kid's area, then the exposed crocodile lake with rocks, then the Aquarium of the Nile creatures, as the design of the project on 2 spines indicates the confluence of the Nile River with the Mediterranean Sea, which is what distinguishes the city and finally ends This path is in the gift shop, then it returns again at the entrance hall to collect items from the safe-keeping room.
