Project idea

The constituent spaces of the building are the key essence, the result of which comes the conceptual project on the rehabilitation center. Some of the main spaces that the building should represent as a rehabilitation center are healing, community awareness, consultations and counseling, education and training, volunteer activities and engagements, housing, food preperation and eating, recreation and sports, administrative space and economic space.

Project description

The selected location in the village of Kojushë in
Prizren, the plot has an area of 27826 m with
the lowest level 300 m and the highest level
400 m, which is a maximum slope of 100 m.
The maximum distance with the center of the
city of Prizren is about 14 km and the nearest one is about 7-9 km. Regional roads connecting Prizren with Gjakovë pass near the location, and the easiest access comes from the regional road Prizren - Suharekë - Prishtina. Whereas the plot is connected to the regional road through the existing secondary road. This area is rich in high and low vegetation, which is one of the strongest points for the design of a rehabilitation center. The Drini i Bardhë river is also located near the plot. Due to the position of the location, it is characterized as a quiet area, without noise and an average traffic during the day. During the work to complete this project, we found that the community of people with addiction to
narcotic substances is neglected by state institutions and society to a certain extent. This neglect is resulting in the exclusion from society of the people who need us the most, so it is recommended that the Ministry of Health consider the commitment to this community, starting with the construction of a center that provides opportunities for the return of this community to society and development of the country.
