The PlayStation 5 Exhibition is a unique and immersive architectural installation that celebrates the iconic design of the Sony DualSense wireless controller. The architectural form of the exhibition is inspired by the sleek and futuristic shape of the controller itself.

As visitors enter the exhibition space, they are immediately enveloped in an environment that replicates the grid lines of the DualSense controller. These grid lines are seamlessly integrated into the structure of the exhibition, creating a visually striking and dynamic experience.

It offers a unique blend of art, design, and technology, providing visitors with an immersive and visually stunning experience that celebrates the unique design and the new technology of Sony PlayStation 5.

Project description

The project is located in the covered exhibition hall in Al-Alamin City in Egypt. The exhibition hall itself serves as a grand stage to showcase the immersive and visually stunning experience that awaits visitors.

As visitors explore the exhibition, they have the opportunity to discover the innovations that make it a groundbreaking gaming console. Through Interactive displays, models, and multimedia installations that provide a deeper understanding of the unique design and the technological aspects of the console.

Technical information

-The exhibition body is constructed on total area: 350 sqm

-It is made up of a shell structure which typically consists of a curved lightweight material that is constructed using concrete reinforced with steel mesh.

-The project uses "lightweight Construction" system, and to ensure that the shell structure remains lightweighted, various techniques are employed during the construction process. This may include the use of lightweight aggregates in the concrete mix, the incorporation of voids or hollow spaces within the structure, or the use of thin concrete shells.

-The materials used in the exhibition are carefully selected to reflect the design language of the controller. White and black materials dominate the space, mirroring the contrasting colors of the DualSense. This choice of materials adds a sense of sophistication and elegance to the overall aesthetic.

-The lighting design plays a crucial role in highlighting the architectural features. Blue lights are strategically placed throughout the exhibition, mimicking the vibrant glow of the controller's LED lighting. This creates a captivating atmosphere that immerses visitors in the world of PlayStation.
