Project idea

The idea of the project is to create a time portal ( where the portal is the hotel ), between the present we are living now and the past, in which guests feel a sense of going back in time to the past .
where the luxurious old architectural styles, high ceilings, the warmth found in boutique hotels, away from technology and modernity .

Some of the most important works of the sculptor, painter and interior designer " Jean Dunand " ( the most famous artist of the art deco era), were exhibited in the hotel's gallery .

The hotel is located in ( Alexandria / Egypt ) . It was chosen specifically for the project because it is one of the oldest cities that has witnessed many civilizations, such as : ( Greek, Roman and ancient Egyptian ), which fits into the art deco style .

Art Deco is a new style of Art Nouveau, where its identity was inspired by the reshaping of lines and art forms from ancient styles like ( Greek, Roman and ancient Egyptian ), then merging and transforming them into their simplest forms .Art Deco reflects the relative simplicity, symmetry, and the repetition of elements in the design .
