Two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.6 and 7.7, centered in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, occurred, causing damage to hospital units and preventing people in rural areas from accessing health care services. Patients were treated under unfavorable conditions, and healthcare workers had to endure challenging circumstances in terms of work and accommodation. The additional disruption of utility networks further exacerbated the hardships.
