Project idea

Designing living spaces, particularly in dense urban fabric, continues to be a common topic of discussion in architecture pedagogy. ensuring that there are sufficient social, economic, and sustainable living conditions for a large number of people. In addition to designing spaces for the units, architects are also asked to ensure an environmentally friendly living environment inside the wall. In addition, the structure should blend in with its surroundings as part of the urban fabric and follow the l for improved legibility. Residential building codes and regulations in urban areas, particularly in Dhaka, are another aspect that aspiring architects should learn in order to practice at a later time. The goal of this project is to create multi-family housing in a dense urban environment like Dhaka.

Project description

By incorporating Louis I. Kahn's architectural influences, it was intended to create a residential complex in the proposed design. Kahn: Why? The national parliament of Bangladesh, a Louis I. Kahn icon, is located not far from the site. However, there is not a single building that can pay tribute to the maestro in the vicinity of the parliament. Therefore, it was my intention to design a building where the inhabitants could experience the quality of space, even in their own apartments, as we can in all of Louis I. Kahn's works. And the idea was to build "from the inside out," which also helps to emulate Louis I. Kahn's principles, such as creating monumentality outside but fluent flow of spaces inside. Inside Out is a dream come true. Dreams of tranquility and introspection; dreams of making memories in the midst of nature; dreams of a life free from the snares, congestion, and traps of the city. Here, it was intended to imitate the savage force of the form, brick and concrete, sincere simplicity, composition of lines, unfolding nothingness, improvement of health and community quality, bringing green spaces and community spaces inside, and water storage in front of building.
