It's easy to understand, while looking at the beautiful art and architecture of Milan, why the city became a capital of high fashion and owe the collection of sustainable and futuristic skyline.
The FLUID is designed as a new runway for the city which has a major influence on international and dominates the fashion treads. The design process considering its occupants, social and environment and taking account into all issues and solutions to fulfill its task as a sustainable development for new generations.
Its aims to implant the proud feeling and creativity of the citizens which can be best representing themselves. In the design, fashion runway is presented in another form and perspective.
The building present a warm tone by respecting with the existing building surrounding and orange reflecting an excitement and with flowing rhythm countering the main concept of the design . Facade expression follows with the smooth flowing of fabric, standing out from the boxy neighbors.
The circulation on the master plan is well planned for the convenience to access from Plot A to Plot B using the connection Plot C. The planning enable people from all neighbors gather into the site, taking concern on different type of transport they are using.
The green idea of emerging green open community space including pocket garden, community play park and plazas between the blocks presented. Different facilities and community space such as retails medic center, cafe, town hall, exhibition and junior school provided for the citizens, including giving out training and professional opportunities for the young generations.
The main path is designed to be a runway and bonding between architectural and fashion balance y a glamorous red flowing shading device leading to the circulation. The circulation of the site emphasis on different users and maximize their convenience heading to the desired destination. The orientation of the building is responding with the shading and wind blow directions to verify every residential unit achieve the best natural ventilation.
Double skin buffer system is applied for the design using transparent photo voltaic panels to reduce energy consumption. By proposing the transparent photo voltaic panels for the outer skin which facing the direct sun ray, the portion of the incident sunlight converted into electricity without binding the view of the residential unit.
Rainwater is collected and reuse for plantation on the site. With the orientation hidden away from the direct sunlight, the main connection path at the middle of the building are shaded and protected. The vertical ventilation path from prevailing breezes in natural ventilation made. greenhouse for urban farming is proposes at the roof top and every unit of residential can own their piece of urban vegetable gardens.
