Children's play space "Only cats in jazz"

Project idea

The purpose of my project proposal for a children's play space is to improve and improve the adjacent territory to the Theater of Young Spectators, located in the city of Yekaterinburg, in order to attract children's attention to creativity and music, as well as to active activities.
The composition of the summer play space is a combination of elements that are parts of various musical instruments. The main element is made in the form of a saxophone, transformed during the layout adjustment. The idea of the composition is that children, during the game, imagine that they are at a mysterious closed jazz performance of eared musicians. The performed melody, like a snake, wriggles, plays with the listener, gaining momentum towards the end of the musical composition. It is as if we become part of the same melody, notes that pass through the convolutions, turns of musical instruments, at the end coming out as bright sounds of the composition being performed. This is an emotional story about the kind of music that is as mysterious, intimate, and elegant as furry little creatures - cats. Jazz is mysterious, playful, not many people can understand it, just like cats, which have their own character, mood, incomprehensible to people.

Целью моего проектного предложения детского игрового пространства является благоустройство и облагораживание прилегающей территории к Театру юного зрителя, расположенного в городе Екатеринбург, с целью привлечения внимания детей к творчеству и музыке, а также к активной деятельности.
Композиция летского игрового пространства представляет собой сочетание элементов, являющиеся частями различных музыкальных инструментов. Главный элемент выполнен по форме саксофона, преобразованный в ходе корректировки макета. Замысел композиции в том, чтобы дети, во время игры, представляли, словно они находятся на загадочном закрытом джазовом выступлении ушастых музыкантов. Исполняемая мелодия, словно змея, извивается, играет со слушателем, набирая обороты к концу музыкальной композиции. Мы будто становимся частью той самой мелодии, нотами, которые проходят через извилины, повороты музыкальных инструментов, в конце выходя яркими звуками исполняемой композиции. Это эмоциональный рассказ о той музыке, которая так же загадочна, интимна, и элегантна, как пушистые маленькие создания – кошки. Джаз таинственный, игривый, не многим дано его понять, так же и кошки, у которых есть свой собственный характер, настроение, непостижимые людям.

Project description

The children's play space includes six delimited play areas. The lower level contains three zones: the entrance and transition zone to the upper level, and the zone of active play. There are two ways to get to the top: by climbing the stairs or by passing under the additional play area-pipe. On the upper level there is an additional play area and a recreation area, as well as a central one (by location).
All zones of the upper tier mainly contain guiding game elements (maze, small stairs, bridges). They lay the route to the main climax area, where the slide is located. On it, the child has the opportunity to go back to the lower tier of the game.

Детское игрвоое пространство включает в себя шесть разграниченных игровых зон. Нижний уровень содержит три зоны: входную и зону перехода на верхний уровень, и зона активной игры. Попасть наверх можно двумя способами: поднявшись по лестнице или пройдя под дополнительной игровой зоной-трубой. На верхнем уровне – дополнительная игровая зона и зона для отдыха, а также центральная (по месторасположению).  
Все зоны верхнего яруса преимущественно заключают в себе направляющие игровые элементы (лабиринт, небольшие лестницы, переходные мостики). Они прокладывают маршрут к главной кульминационной зоне, где находится горка. По ней ребенок имеет возможность вновь перейти на нижний ярус игры.

Technical information

Features of the constructive solution and the building materials used. Metal and plastic were chosen as the main structure, these materials will help the children's play space to maintain its original state for many years. External design - plastic and metal. Floor covering - rubber tiles. Seats-keys - granite bases will not reduce the cost of the appearance of the children's play space, and wooden flooring will allow you to sit on such benches not only in the warm season.

Особенности конструктивного решения и применяемых строительных материалов. В качестве основной конструкции были выбраны металл и пластик, эти материалы помогут детскому игровому пространству сохранить свое изначальное состояние на многие года. Внешняя конструкция – пластик и металл. Напольное покрытие – резиновая плитка. Сидения-клавиши – гранитные основания не дадут удешевить внешний вид детского игрового пространства, а деревянный настил позволит сидеть на таких скамейках не только в теплое время года.
