Project idea

The project should serve as a tourist base for Jáchymov.

Project description

On the roof of the building is a parking lot, which is visually separated by a green facade. Part of the parking lot is also covered by a roof made of solar panels. On the ground floor, the mass of the building is divided into two parts to enable the connection of the adjacent park and the cultural center for pedestrians. The building contains a restaurant, a bus stop, a shop with a rental of sports equipment, a small laundry and an information center that enables the organization of smaller exhibitions.

Technical information

The load-bearing structure is made of reinforced concrete, the outer shell consists of panels with a wooden frame and an aluminum outer covering. The building is heated by a heat pump using ground wells. The building uses its own solar panels. Ventilation is ensured by an air-conditioning unit with recuperation.
