Project idea

Calvary has been synonymous with a typical Filipino trying to reach their destination. The chaotic urbanscape has been struggling to organize itself with unpredictable plying of trikes, jeepneys, buses, private vehicles, and the like. Solutions have been placed over problems yet it lacks vision as it only sees what is happening at the moment. Through contextualized
cultural and environmental solutions, the project aims to design a multimodal terminal the Filipino deserves.

Project description

The terminal utilizes technological innovation for the ease and efficiency of transportation. It aims to cater to transportation and consumer demands through leisure, retail, and transport service. It also aims to contribute in democratizing public spaces for a more equitable metropolis.

Technical information

The design strategies incorporates seamless security measures by implementing advanced encryption protocols, biometric authentication, and real-time threat detection to ensure a safe and secure environment for passengers. Contactless ticketing systems are integrated, leveraging technologies such as QR codes, NFC, or mobile apps to enable touchless ticket validation, reducing physical contact and improving efficiency. Additionally, transport timetables are digitally accessible through user-friendly interfaces, providing real-time updates and personalized notifications to enhance the overall travel experience. Grand spaces are designed to foster social interaction and provide a platform for people from all walks of life to come together. By offering a democratized venue, they create inclusive environments that cater to diverse social strata.
These spaces prioritize serving both the local community and commuters, ensuring accessibility and convenience for a wide range of individuals.
