The main idea of this project is to restore the infrastructure of Ukraine. Many airports were destroyed as a result of Russian military aggression, their post-war restoration will help develop the country's infrastructure and economy. My goal is to demonstrate the latest methods of designing the architectural environment of airports and the further development of the design of air terminals in Ukraine.
This project consists of the following parts:
The main area is 2 hectares.
The building consists of three floors, at -4,000 meters there is an underground parking lot for company cars, as well as storage facilities. On the plan, at the + 0.000 meter mark, the entire terminal is conventionally divided into three blocks (passenger departure area, administrative block and passenger arrival area). At +4,000 m there is a duty-free zone, as well as gates for disembarking and boarding the plane.
In the city-planning frame, a freestanding tower is dominant in the plan, connected to the main structure of the airport by its roof.
The structure of the building is formed by a shell of structural elements and vertical elements (columns). The tower is designed using a reinforced concrete frame.
