Project idea

The main idea of this project is to create a space for a quiet and relaxing holiday, where all architectural and stylistic solutions very delicately and carefully fit into the nature of the place. An important aspect is that the project pays great attention to the peculiarities of the architecture of this region.

Project description

The seafront: The landscape of the coast is varied and has steep cliffs and valleys. The seafront fits into the existing area and complements it.
The concept of the project is to create a cozy and inclusive space that delicately fits into the landscape of the area and repeats its natural forms.
Key design decisions were:
- minimization of hard coatings;
- bringing diversity to the vegetation of the area;
- creating walking, cycling and shared routes;
- forming a vegetative buffer between the seafront and the villas;
- construction of ramps for people with limited mobility;
- allocation of zones to lively and more private.

The hotel: Our design solution reflects following key points:
/minimal interference into natural terrain
/use of local materials and technics
/compliance with local morphotype of vernacular architecture
/preserving green areas
/respecting guests’ privacy
/public areas can be used by all the visitors of the resort

The lower and underground floors are combined into a stylobate, inside it is an underground parking, restaurant, welcome and reception zone, two-level restaurant (breakfast zone on top floor and fine dining on the lower level), SPA-wellness-fitness zone, children playroom. Stylobate has an extensive vegetative roof, which serves as a private garden for hotel guests.
Hotel suits are oriented towards east, south-east and south-west, so that they are protected from the midday sun. Flat green roofs cover all the hotel blocks, situated above the stylobate, providing overheating protection. full of beautiful natural landscapes.

Technical information

The constructions of the hotel building are made of reinforced concrete. A frame structural scheme is used in the building, due to which an "open plan" becomes possible. External walls are hinged. There are crossbars in the overlap.
