Project idea

The main concept of the project is to create a new and interesting place, suitable for all people who want to experience Croatia in a new way. The 21st century is a time to create sustainable projects for future generations to enjoy. Nature has long been "inviting" us to take care of it and appreciate what we have. The 21st century is the time to listen to her words. Miris Garden is a project fully tailored to the needs of modern man and satisfying all his needs. At the same time, it is nature-friendly and offers a way of life in harmony with it.

Project description

For better or worse, 21st century can be called the century of shopping centers and malls. People increasingly choose to spend their free time in them. A complex like Miris Garden cannot afford not to have such a building.
The goal of “NEST” Shopping Center is to transform ordinary activities such as shopping and dining into extraordinary experiences. "NEST" answers our daily questions - "Where to eat?", "Where to shop?", "Where to work?" and of course "Where to relax after work?". This is a challenge even for large commercial buildings, but NEST achieves it in a very compact space. Architecture is an experience, and the goal of "NEST" shopping complex is to make the experience exciting.
The volumetric solution is inspired by the modern man's desire to restore balance and harmony between people and nature. The center brings together commercial spaces, a restaurant, co-working spaces and a large recreation area in three distinctive volumes. The motto of the project is "NEST for all".

Technical information

The construction is prefabricated, wooden with 360 degree glazing, providing stunning panoramas from every point of the building. Inspired by bird nests, it is self-supporting and creates a feeling of a spacious yet cozy space. At level +-0.00 is located the main commercial area. The space is open and spacious, which puts socialization between people in the first place. At level -4.80 are located the restaurant and the places for shared work. At -9.30 there is a cafeteria/bakery and a children's corner. The service rooms are on the same level. To complete the exciting experience, the roof top level becomes a park in the air with the possibility of many different activities. The space provides a place for a picnic, reading a book, children's games, mini golf and more. In addition to enjoying the view, the amphitheater structure of the space allows the staging of small performances or musical events
