Project idea

Hospitality project Hotel VODE is rich in the Complexity and concavity along with lush greenery, inspired by Croatian landscapes and tales "spokoj" is a "nacin Zivota" hotel and resort, architecturally reminiscent of intricate detailing to deliver a sense ofbalance across the property, whilst paying homage to the land's history. Keeping up with the mindfulness, nature and relaxation aspects, Hotelputs a big emphasis on wellness. Guests can rejuvenate at the Wellness Spa + Relaxation area.

Project description

Hotel VODE is a project designed by a team of 8 people including Me as a team lead and Hamna Khalid, Shahwaiz Ur Rehman, Hashaam Ahmad, Arslan Tanveer, Muhammad Dawood, Zain Farooq and Muhammad Taimoor Sarwar. The project derivation started from the site to respect regional priority. The blend of boundry between the interior & exterior to expand the view as an excellent example of how the the user and built form meet the sky. Blending not only created more living space, it provides natural extension of your interior space no matter what the weather is. The depth of the building will allows the space to be understood from multiple perspectives. It also help focuses on components or elements of the structure. Convexity and concavity as mirrored aspects of the same element rely on one another. The working with the depth of built form, convexity and concavity is acting as connector and divider of public space.This also helps to inform the user about the volume of the form and can be taken advantage of to make form more revealing after exposure. Kinetic facades adds to the solar geometry.

Technical information

The project caters the practical implementations of LEED certified building and the structural requirements for the built area. The Load calculation, water efficiency, sustainable energy and indoor environmental quality is kept in view.
