The main objective was to design a marina including its various amenities. The project requires the provision of boat rental services, a restaurant, a café, and seating with a view.
Marina is located in the town of Starigrad in Croatia. The design is built on a 60 degree grid of supporting columns. The complex is divided into three parts. The side arms have a green roof with solar panels, and the roof of the front building is freely accessible by stairs. The marina facilities include paddleboard rental, an information center, a bakery, a souvenir shop, a restaurant, a cafe, a supermarket, and boat servicing.
The structure is supported by a combination of load-bearing columns and walls. The roof is supported by beams. The foundation is a combination of foundation strips and footings (which can be replaced with piles if necessary). The structures are mostly reinforced concrete monolithic/assembled.
