The proposed object is located in a picturesque bay near the town of Starigrad in Croatia. The plan is to build an extensive recreation concept, which also includes a small boat harbor - marina. The marina is designed as a whole complex with civic amenities buildings. The centerpiece of the design is a modern concrete pier that connects all the buildings. There is a restaurant, shops, equipment rental, cafe, bar.
The objects use the slopes of the terrain and copy it in a bell shape. The perimeter walls protrude from the shore, forming sharp lines and connecting to each other in a continuous curve. It is supported by the similarly shaped edges of the pier and shores.
In terms of materials, the design is conceived very sparingly, the following materials were chosen: white exposed concrete with a pattern of wooden formwork, quarry stone and stainless steel. The austere facades are broken up by the openwork steel elements covered with climbing plants, as well as the bar profiles that form the gates and tunnels. These elements combined with greenery and futuristic visuals create a pleasant impression. In the design, as much as possible, there is an effort to preserve greenery together with other natural elements. The objects use the slopes of the terrain and copy it in a bell shape.
