Project idea

To turn the resort into a tourism destination designed specifically for senior citizens, that accommodates their needs and necessities. Due to the lack of tourist destinations that cater to this vulnerable part of society.

Project description

Designing a semi-natural controlled environment experience for all adventurous, nature loving people of determination and elderly citizens, that feels un restrained while providing full attention, medical care, safety for all resort clients 24/7 around the clock.
Designing a community driven architecture to bring the community and visitors together, by providing communal spaces and activities to combat loneliness and improve the quality of life.
Help elderly citizens find purpose and motivation to live through feeling a sense of belonging to place or a community.

Technical information

The main building has a dynamic, kinetic façade that moves according to the sun and the weather conditions.
