In the hustle and bustle of the urban space, the citizens are looking for a peaceful urban life in the busy street after passing through the busy commercial walls and dense residential fabric in the corner of the street, we designed a cozy place for the peace of mind of the citizens. "The Quiet city courtyard" is a small nudge for the citizens to experience the lost peace again. "The quiet life of the city" separates one from the urban environment for a few minutes. The purpose of designing this element was to create urban green spots on a smaller scale.
• Portable
• Creating green privacy in the hustle and bustle of the city center
• Ability to use in any open space with different size and shape
• Making microclimate
• Combining the presence of people in the city by using ecological approaches
• Functional design of urban spaces while being beautiful
• Urban space design with breathable plant species
• The possibility of people's participation in urban spaces
The innovation of this project is in low-cost and removable space design that provides citizens with a unique space experience. Designing urban spaces can be time-consuming and expensive, and sometimes the design platform creates limitations for the implementation of the project. This prefabricated, flexible and movable element responds to the limitations and quickly changes an unused urban space to become a desirable and usable space.
Creating green privacy in the hustle and bustle of the city center and a space for people to interact in peace is one of the social aspects of sustainability in this project. The element's ability to be pre-fabricated, reducing costs and increasing the execution speed helps the economic sustainability of the project. Combining greenery and creating a favorable microclimate in crowded areas with high noise and air pollution is a small step in the direction of creating environmental sustainability.
