Project idea

The play of light and shadow in Iranian architecture is eye-catching in different parts of the buildings, this beauty is doubled next to the colored glass of the sashes of Iranian houses, and it is imprinted in the historical memory of all of us, a thousand interactive imaginary colors derived from the elements Iranian architecture and in some way their combination and modernized. A grid of colored glass is placed on the ceiling facing the sky, and the reflective panels taken from old mirrors are mechanically moving by a bicycle in the center of the space.
This element is a combination of the social dimension and the functional dimension. It encourages people to move and pedal the central bicycle. By pedaling, the mirror blades start to rotate. The reflection of sunlight in the network of colored glass on the ceiling creates a game of light and color by moving the mirrors on the surrounding environment.

Technical information

A bicycle in the center of the space, which is connected to the mirror panels with electric and mechanical systems, moves the panels by people pedaling. The reflection of colored lights in moving mirror panels creates an indescribable visual space of light and color. This makes people more courage to engage with installations, and also helps making more social interactions. Using clean energies and paying attention to people healthcare make this installation as a sustainable product for city spaces.
