After falling to the bottom, the only thing left to do is to be reborn like a phoenix, renewing itself and becoming stronger. Beirut is a great potential and an example of sustainable architecture. Thus, as a result of the internal conflicts, the events of 2020 and the vulnerability in these years due to the economic issue, the reconstruction of the port of Beirut is proposed.
This port will be made up of a hybrid structural system; composed of wood, concrete columns and wood and calamine roofs at certain points. However, this port seeks to promote the articulation between the sea, commerce (port) and the city. Thus promoting a better quality of life for the citizens.
7 PORT AREAS
CONTAINER TERMINAL
The container zone has a crane area and a cargo storage area, connected by pedestrian and cargo truck paths.
EMPTY CONTAINER TERMINAL

PORT ZONE: The main objective of these port zones will be to connect the sea and land routes and, in the case of Beirut, to reactivate economic activity. Along with this we consider free spaces and those warehouses that will be roofed and others without roofing. Its connection with the city will be through a width of a low-density boulevard. This means that heavy vehicles could enter and leave the port without affecting Beirut's traffic.
LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONE: This zone is divided into 3 zones: A is the zone for deposit or storage, B is for goods and C is for loading, apart from the stowage and unloading that is located in each zone.
FREE ZONE: Since this zone is a waiting area for re-export and has another area in which you can make modifications to the product and likewise re-export it, added to these two previous zones we complete with a volume that has administrative areas such as Management, Secretary, Logistics, Accounting, Meeting Room, Administration, Office, toilet, monitoring room, Warehouse, Control Area and two warehouses one of the free zone and the other of the loading and unloading area.
SILO BUILDING: It will consist of 8 silo buildings, which will be used to store water in case of emergencies and the passenger terminal, which will be quite recurrent.

SCHOOL PLUS VIEWPOINT
