Project idea

THE FIRST SITUATION LOOKED IN THE PLANNING OF THE PLACE WAS SOCIALLY DISTANCE OF PEOPLE TO THE PORT .

FIRST, THE STRUCTURE OF THE PORT THAT TAKES THE CITY AND THE SEA AWAY FROM THEM HAS BEEN DESTROYED, AND VERTICAL AXES THAT DESTROY THE SEA AND LAND BORDER ARE CREATED.

THEN THESE AXLES CREATED GREEN AREA WALKING PATH FOR PEOPLE OR CHANNELS BRINGING THE SEA TO THE CITY.

THE FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURES OF THE PORT ARE RE-ARCHANGED IN LOCATION AND STRUCTURE, AND PEOPLE'S MEETING AREAS ARE DESIGNED. THIS WILL EASIER TO GATHER THE PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT FAITH OF BEIRUT AND THEM TO COMBINE.

THE SILO STRUCTURE, ESTABLISHED AGAINST THE EXPLOSION, IS USED AS A MONUMENT AND TAKES THE MISSION OF REMINDING PEOPLE OF THE PAST.

THE CRATER CREATED AT THE EXPLOSION POINT IS INTENDED TO BE THE ICON STRUCTURE OF BEIRUT, BOTH MEANING AND STRUCTURE.

Project description

In the main idea there are public spaces with many spots for culture. The point I wanted to reach was to cover the land with greenery, water, art and people. I created axles that remove the border between the city and the sea
