Project idea

Creating a memorial museum for the causalities of WWII in Egypt. Using interpretation design concept that will provide a memorable experience for the visitor and create non forgettable memory that will influence people understanding and behavior and evolve the future generations if necessary and stay relevant if we faced such new conflicts.

Project description

The past, present, and future are all represented in this WWII museum. Therefore, a past event is brought up in every zone. The visitor enters Zone 1, which is the reception area, before moving on to Zone 2, which discusses Alex's people's exodus.then  They will go on to the basement zone after that before going to the war cemetery.They continue to explore the landmines zone and then the future of Alamein zone.

Technical information

This building is made of a skeleton structure and the use of different types of concrete materials that are used differently according to each zone.
