When we analyzed Beirut when we started the project, we saw that it is a city that carries its traces to the future. When we look at the traces and layers, he says it is a divided and discontinuous city. We started at some point in the city by linking them together and thinking if we could turn it into an old association with regard to our final point design space.
We see that these fragmented layers in the city overlap at some points. We suggest that these layers come together in our design space, but they have important points in themselves and in fact we provide an integrative backbone by connecting these important points.
We are producing an urban design project in which we ensure that all layers are combined in our space.
When these layers enter our space, they turn into squares in the entrance areas, bring people together and turn into social areas where different activities come together. The buildings were treated as reinforced concrete, and colored paints were used in floor coverings and urban furniture.
