Mind Sports Centre “Game-in.”

Project idea

Mind Sports has a positive effect on cognitive development and abilities with games such as chess, backgammon, puzzles and mazes. The project is a centre combining all these mind sports and games to help the youth develop strategic and cognitive skills required for evolving the future society. The project followed some of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Project description

The projects includes the following: a variety of mind sports and games, from board games such as chess, backgammon, puzzles etc., a library and a post-maze reception located at the left side of the building, and mind sports in a physical form such as climbing gym, children interactive area and maze at the right side of the building. The first chosen zone is the climbing gym with its services, the second is the reception and the third is the maze.

Technical information

The building is divided into two parts representing the brain. Right side being responsible of creativity, it contains all physical mind sports while the left side representing logic, it contains all board games and zones such as the library. A central membrane containing the reception open to a skylight showcasing the entire 2 floored building.
