Project idea

In yoga and meditation, which are directly related to Positive Energy, rhythm and flow are very important, just like at any moment of our lives. Flow , rhythm and balance are in all areas of our life. in our movements, in our thoughts, in our breathing.. Positivia is designed on a design concept that establishes the connection between them, Deconstructs the concept of flow, interprets balance together with fluidity.

Project description

A positive energy center has been designed in the design area located in the Seferihisar district of Izmir ( Turkey).
This designed center includes a set of movement, breathing exercises and meditation areas designed to relieve stress, stay healthy, increase strength and flexibility. In addition, the region of the hand made products can be sold in a market, where people performed yoga exercises that will allow you to rest mentally and physically workshops and a cafe and restaurant that serves local seafood, sea views, an open-air cinema, water sports can be done, customers and guests from outside the hotel snack bar and pool.
The masses are located in an inviting way to ensure the flow of people in the project area. At the same time, care has been taken not to interrupt the view of the masses from each other and the cool breeze coming from the sea. Recreation areas have been added to the areas located between the masses Dec The floor heights of the masses are determined according to the function that the space will have and the number of people it will have. Eaves have been added to the entrance of each function to match the regional architecture, and flowers have been positioned. Sound and light games were performed with the eaves added to the buildings. At the same time, open- semi-open spaces have been created.
The masses are made of glass, wood and stone to provide indoor and outdoor permeability. Surfaces that are glass can be completely opened and turned into closed spaces only.
Bamboo eaves were used in the workshops. Thanks to the wind, the sound of bamboo will be used in meditation. In the same way, the tears in the fringes will allow other feelings to be felt around the clock, and these feelings will be experienced by sitting on the rocks around the tears.
Landscape and water elements are positioned in such a way as to ensure human flow, orientation, privacy, visual enjoyment and sound insulation. Dec outdoor cinema and bungalow provided insulation between the houses, while the meditation garden provided privacy.

Technical information

In the project; green roofs were used to improve the energy performance of buildings, improve air quality, collect rainwater without October equipment. Glass cladding facades with steel construction and wood and stone elements, which are an environmentally friendly material, were used under the green roofs. Considering the harm of paint to nature, no paint was used on the surface, some eaves were only covered with plaster.
the eaves are connected to the steel columns of the masses with a wooden skeleton system and steel construction.
