Also the western desert of Egypt has many fossils of other rare creatures that lived throughout the history of earth. However, the researchers working in these areas face harsh challenges from camping in the desert with no proper living or work environment for them. in addition to isolation form their families and many mental health issues they face throughout their work.

Project description

This project consists of workspaces and entertainment areas in addition to residential buildings. The first chosen zone is the reception which reflects a statement through the entry of the facility. The second zone is the courtyard which is designed to make a green retreat for the isolated researchers in the middle of the desert, thus optimizing their living environment. The third zone is a preparation lab to make a workspace with all their needs considered and studied. The fourth zone is the metaverse pod which aims to end isolation of the researchers by providing a platform to help them connect with their families. (Full project link is attached on a pdf)
