"GRANDIOSE TERMINUS" Destination mall - A Leisure Complex

Project idea

“GRANDIOUS TERMINUS” project is a real-time project proposal. Its dream is to provide a one-stop destination for leisure in the city of Hyderabad in the newly developing GMR Aero city near RGIA Airport. This Destination mall consists of retail spaces, restaurants, a Snow world, Indoor, and outdoor food courts, Multiplex, a game zone, a Wellness center, an Amusement park, and a Landscape plaza with gardens and parks.

Project description

The name “GRANDIOUS TERMINUS” itself explains as a large-scale destination that is ambitiously big. Here the project consists of a wide variety of activities focusing on various activity groups. Based on the Research analysis the components of the project are finalized. This project's dream is to provide a one-stop destination for leisure in the city of Hyderabad in the newly developing GMR Aero city near RGIA Airport. The project revolves around 4 categories Eat, Play, Shop, and Relax, which are considered as most leisure activities in the present generation. All activities are planned under one roof in an area of 1,32,000 Sq.m. one of the biggest projects around the locality in this category. With access via Air even the passengers during the layover can explore the place and experience the space.

Technical information

The project focus on the following concepts
1. Space frame structure is used in the atrium spaces.
2. The Elevation of the building is made of a metal frame with wooden clad objects attached to it and glass curtain walls.
3. Whole structure is made of reinforced concrete columns and beams.
4. The walls are made using pre-fabrication materials.
5. Onyx Solar system is used where the Panels are made of transparent glass which is attached to the space frame and certain portions of elevation.
6. Landscape plaza uses recycled water.
7. Piezo electric flooring is used in the lobby areas.
