Project idea

This is an embassy building that can convey Czech culture, meet the customs of Ethiopia, and take care of office, residence and safety.

Project description

This design makes full use of the characteristics of the site and takes the Czech traditional blocks as a reference, fully demonstrates the Czech architectural and cultural characteristics, and conveys the friendly and open attitude of the Czech people. At the same time, the traditional red brick of Ethiopia is used as the external wall, fully integrating the local characteristics and organic combination with the surrounding environment. The layout of the building function is reasonable, the streamline of personnel is properly handled, and the rationality of office and the comfort of living are taken into account under the condition of meeting the safety. It can not only undertake large-scale diplomatic activities, but also take into account the reception of private visitors. Visa area and office area are separated, residential area and office area are well separated, and staff living unit is clear. Moreover, the building conforms to the local environment, takes full account of the local climate, has many shelter spaces, and can shelter the wind and rain. Architecture, which takes into account both functionality, representativeness and security, will serve as a bridge of friendship between the two peoples.
