The design concept of habitat studio architecture is inspired by a fluid geometry of water, its surrounding the form and interior spaces. Fluidity in architecture is not new to this region. In historical Islamic architecture, rows, grids, or sequences of columns flow to infinity like trees in a forest, establishing non-hierarchical space. Fluidity is a quality of being graceful or flowing, like the fluidity of a dancer's movements. Things that move with easy, smooth motions have.
Allow to the fluidity architecture, the design are keep movement even curving on the facade, so that will not seen any sharp design from exterior. Employees and other participants that work and visit in the building can also watch the flowing view of the facade. Curtain wall also apply in this building, for the reason can apply natural lighting while not using electrical lighting in the morning. Besides, habitat studio architecture not just for employees that work at there and have 2 floors in the building , so that's have public area such as reception, restroom, lounge and landscape at the ground floor level. Semi-public area which is studio, resource center and exhibition. Lastly, the private are that in the building which is m&e room and store. The second floor level is just for employees only, other participants can go through if have permission.
For overall of this design systems is using 2 systems to approach the design, which are space frame structure system and concrete structure system. Space frame structure is the main facade of this design, secondly, the concrete structure is approach on the major parts, such as columns, beams, slab and foundation.
