Dostavba synagogy v Brně

Project idea

Studie řeší revitalizaci stávající synagogy na ulici Skořepka v Brně a dále dostavbu komunitního centra s košer restaurací, hotelem a muzeem v rozsahu odpovídajícím současným požadavkům židovské obce v Brně. Při návrhu je dle územního plánu počítáno s odsunem hlavního nádraží, což umožňuje nové využití viaduktu lemujícího severní hranu řešeného území. Tento bude využíván jako park. Komlex budov na řešeném území se vyznačuje dvěmi dominantami. První z nich je stavba samotného komunitního centra. Tato je řešena jako podlouhlá stavba kubické hmoty, výrazně horizontální lemující ulici Vlhkou. V rámci tohoto objektu je řešen průchod do nádvoří na osu protějšího objektu muzea. Tento objekt je výrazný rovněz zejména díky své organické fasádě z textilního materiálu, která je symbolem - odkazem na modlitební pomůcky doprovázející život židů takřka od narození.
Další výraznou dominantou je pak venkovní podium s hledištěm elipsového tvaru, které je orientováno výhledem směrem na hrad Špilberk a na Petrov. Jedná se o výhled západním směrem, který bude dotvářet atmosféru konaným akcím, zejména pak ve večerních hodinách při západu slunce. Prostřednictvím prostoru kolem hlediště bude také prosvětlováno muzeum, které je jinak kromě své východní fasády zapuštěno pod terénem.
Stávající synagoga bude revitalizována a její vzhled zůstane zachován.

The study deals with the revitalization of the existing synagogue in the Skořepka street in Brno and the completion of a community center with kosher restaurant, hotel and museum to the extent of the current requirements of the Jewish community in Brno. According to the zoning plan, the design of the main station is planned, which allows for a new use of the viaduct lining the northern edge of the area. This will be used as a park. The complex of buildings on the solved area is characterized by two dominant features. The first is the construction of the community center itself. This is designed as an elongated structure of cubic mass, significantly horizontal lining Vlhkou. Within this building there is a passage to the courtyard on the axis of the opposite museum. This object is also marked by its organic façade of textile material, which is a symbol - a reference to prayer aids that accompany the lives of Jews from almost birth.
Another prominent feature is the outdoor stage with an elliptical-shaped auditorium, which is oriented towards the Špilberk Castle and Petrov. It is a view to the west, which will create the atmosphere of the events, especially in the evening at sunset. The area around the auditorium will also illuminate the museum, which is otherwise besides its eastern facade embedded under the ground.
The existing synagogue will be revitalized and its appearance will be preserved.

Project description

Pozemek je situován v Brně, městská část střed. Řešené území je vymezeno z jihu zástavbou podél ulice Skořepka, z východu ulicí Vlhká, ze severu železniční tratí a ze západu zahradami přilehlých objektů. Vymezené území je půdrysně nepravidelného tvaru a je rovinaté. Železniční trať lemující severní a severozápadní část území se nachází na viaduktu ve výšce cca 4 m nad okolním terénem. Pozemek je momentálně zastavěn chátrajícími a nevyužívanými objekty a pokryt náletovou zelení. Počítá se s odstraněním těchto staveb. V návrhu je dále počítáno s odsunem polohy hlavního nádraží, což umožňuje nové využití pro současnou železniční trať.
Železniční trať bude nově přestavěna na park a v návznosti na ni bude severozápadní cíp pozemku zastavěn muzeem a toto území se zvedne do úrovně parku, tj. současné železniční trati. Výškově se však bude propojovat s muzeem prostřednictvím ventovního pódia ale také výtahy. Toto venkovní podium bude orientováno směrem k centru města a to zejmén z důvodu výhledu na hrad Špilberk a na Petrov.
Podél ulice Vlhká (tj. východní hrana pozemku) bude stát podlouhlý objekt komunitního centra, restaurace a hotelu. Plocha mezi muzeem a komunitním centrem zůstává vůči trati snížená a bude tvořit předprostor muzea a nádvoří pro židovskou komunitu (např. konání akcí židovské obce). Tato plocha bude zároveň propojena vertikálně pobýtovým schodištěm s parkem.
Takřka celé území pak bude zastavěno ještě podzemním podlažím,m které bude sloužit jako parkoviště. Napříč pozemkem od západu k východu bude veden liniový vodní prvek směrem k zázemí obce do mikve. Tento prvek zároveň poslouží k rozdělení nádvoří na veřejnou část a soukromou část židovské obce.

The land is situated in Brno, the city center. The solved area is delimited from the south by buildings along the Skořepka street, from the east by Vlhká street, from the north by railway tracks and from the west by the gardens of adjacent buildings. The defined area is an irregularly shaped ground plane and is flat. The railway line lining the northern and northwestern part of the territory is located on the viaduct at a height of about 4 m above the surrounding terrain. The land is currently built up with dilapidated and unused buildings and covered with greenery. It is planned to remove these buildings. Furthermore, the proposal foresees the removal of the position of the main railway station, which allows new use for the current railway line.
The railway line will now be rebuilt into a park, and the northwest tip of the site will be built up by a museum and the area will rise to the level of the park, ie the current railway line. However, it will be connected to the museum via a ventilating platform but also to elevators. This outdoor stage will be oriented towards the city center, especially due to the view of Špilberk Castle and Petrov.
Along the Vlhká Street (ie the eastern edge of the site) there will be an elongated building of a community center, restaurant and hotel. The area between the museum and the community center remains reduced to the track and will be a pre-space for the museum and courtyard for the Jewish community (eg Jewish community events). This area will also be connected vertically with a staircase to the park.
Almost the entire territory will then be built by the underground floor, which will serve as a parking lot. A cross-sectional water element will be led across the plot from west to east towards the village's background to mikveh. This element will also serve to divide the courtyard into a public part and a private part of the Jewish community.

Technical information

Téměř celé území je podsklepeno (parking). Suterén je řešen železobetonový prefabrikovaný obousměrný rámový skelet založený na monolitických železobetonových základových patkách a na tomto suterénu se pak nachází dva samotstatné objekty, tj. komunitní centrum a muzeum. Komunitní centrum jeřešeno jako železobetonový prefabrikovaný obousměrný rámový skelet v rastru 6 x 8 m, tropní konstrukce z předpjatých panelů spiroll. Muzeum je rřešeno z monolitického železobetonu.
