The project is a conceptual solution of the well-known luxury skin care brand Aesop. The idea was to connect the art of Greek civilization with the modern interior.
Greek ornament is distinguished by a simple line, definition of details, radiation of parts, uniqueness of composition and perfect symmetry. Anthemion, which is a typical form, derives from the traditional lotus and bud of Egypt, Assyria and India. Like the Egyptian and Assyrian prototype, the Greek anthemion is usually arranged with alternating flower and bud, connected by a curved line or, more commonly, a double spiral.
As a starting point in the process of creating a conceptual solution, a modified Greek ornament was taken over. By stylizing it and adding the volume of the form along the vertical axis, a shape was formed that builds the artistic interior. In addition to the decorative segment, the wall covering placed inside the space is intended to guide the user through the process of movement and use of the space.
The lining is made of polycarbonate profiled plates, while the floor is made of cast terrazzo. Stainless steel builds the shelves for the products, the reception desk and area for trying samples.
