Project idea

"Lotus" is a compact structure outside the city that allows the usual level of cleanliness and hygiene, and also serves as an area for socializing and relaxation. It was important to create not only a practical space, but also an object that would be a new landmark - a recognizable image that would attract attention. The structure can be placed anywhere outside the city.

Project description

The peculiarity of the project is the coexistence with the landscape. The architectural object, thanks to its materials, tries to penetrate the space of the natural environment, to be in harmony with nature. With the help of two elements - stainless steel and glass blocks - on which the design is based, reflection and dissolution in the environment is achieved. The abstract image of the lotus, accompanied by facets in different planes, allows the same location to convey volume in different ways. The atmosphere of the picturesque fields will be reproduced on the facades of the architectural object, and in the darkness the reflecting steel will serve as a background, where the accent will be a panoramic glazing made of glass blocks, which serves as a visible landmark. The object will become a prominent landscape sign. Comfort and coziness are combined in a laconic form. The architecture is close to nature and blurs the boundaries with the outside world.

Technical information

The structure of the pavilion is a timber frame, which is sheathed in steel sheets, creating a sense of lightness and transparency.
