Project idea

En consecuencia a la tragedia ocurrida naciente en el trazado logístico portuario que actualmente gran parte de la explanada se encuentra desintegrada por la explosión ocurrida, surge la necesidad de reconstruir dicho trazado con el objeto de mantener simbólicamente la identidad inicial del puerto, donde el protagonismo se traslada a los silos que brotan del plano horizontal desprendiendo el suelo duro de hormigón que lo rodea. Este hecho arquitectónico rememora su antigua función y retoma un valor histórico y cultural para los habitantes de beirut.

As a result of the nascent tragedy that occurred in the port logistics layout, where a large part of the esplanade is currently disintegrated due to the explosion that occurred, the need arises to rebuild said layout in order to symbolically maintain the initial identity of the port, where the leading role is moves to the silos that sprout from the horizontal plane detaching the hard concrete floor that surrounds it. This architectural fact recalls its former function and resumes a historical and cultural value for the inhabitants of Beirut.

Project description

Nuestro punto de partida a nivel urbano nace de la articulación del trazado inicial, que se resuelve con una gran cinta verde de ejes quebrados que tiene por objetivo vincular gran parte de la urbe y su recorrido conecta áreas estratégicas para generar un impulso económico y de paseo turístico.

Our starting point at the urban level is born from the articulation of the initial layout, which is resolved with a large green belt of broken axes that aims to link a large part of the city and its route connects strategic areas to generate an economic and leisure boost. tourist.

Technical information

La construcción de los edificio se resuelve en hormigón y vidrio en todo el circuito de viviendas y hoteles, con una segunda piel metálica micro perforada en el plano envolvente de los silos, también se propone una situación de terrazas verdes en sus cubiertas que aportan confort climático al habitar humano.

The construction of the buildings is resolved in concrete and glass throughout the circuit of houses and hotels, with a second micro-perforated metallic skin in the surrounding plane of the silos, a situation of green terraces is also proposed on their roofs that provide climatic comfort. to human habitation.
