Project idea

The main idea of this project, began from semestral project of Advanced Studio of Architecture.

Project description

An Innovation center in our hometown Gjilan. Our idea was generated from function into form, we wanted to create a pasive building, based on analyses, the location has a north-south longitudinal extension, from this we didn't create openings in north, and the rest fascades are treated with structural fascade to add the most natural light, to prevent high temperatures during summer and natural ventilation we added a double skin fascade of carbon fibre, the entery part is a rised terrain, in which the main function is a physics barrier with road and stopping noises, the terrain in reality will serve also as a green roof and underneth of it, a restaurant. To link both objects we created a ramp that merges between the top of the green and the center, it will also t will also have the role of shading the entrance. This object will be the new identity of town.

Technical information

The object is constructed of caseton construction, because the concrete has more stability over years.
