Observation Platform "Tree"

Project idea

The idea of this observation platform is inspired by a tree. This is expressed in its shape in the form of a main trunk and four branches. The platform is designed for the central part of Russia with flat terrain, for a park area with coniferous and mixed forests. Due to the height of the main platform and branches that are above the tops of the trees, they offer views to all sides of the world.

Project description

This projects consists of the following parts. Main part is a cylindrical facade, in which there is a small-sized elevator for people with limited mobility, around which a spiral staircase is built, along which you can climb to the main platform, from which four staircases with small platforms depart. All stairs are equipped with handrails 1.2m high to ensure safety.

Technical information

The height of the observation platform is 19.2, the main platform is at a height of 15m. The construction of the building is made of concrete, metal, laminated glass. Four staircases are supported by metal cables.
