Project idea

the idea of the project is to combine the functions of a fire station, a firefighters' training center and a cafe in a single volume, since the design site is located on all-terrain traffic in summer, near the beach. In Russia, fire depots are usually hidden from the main roads, with this project we prove the potential of typology in urban planning. Another main goal was to create a public space open to people

Project description

the project consists of a research part of studying foreign analogues. After that comes the practical part. On the 1st floor there is a depot production area and a fire truck garage, a cafe kitchen that serves the cafe halls and a firefighters' meal room. The kitchen is illuminated through the overhead light. There is also Parking for 25 cars for the employees of the complex. On the 1st floor there is an administrative area of the depot, a sports hall of the depot, a meeting hall. There is also a separate elevator entrance to the top of the sleeve tower, there is an observation deck open to people on the Volga River. On the other side of the complex is the entrance to the cafe. On the same floor is the entrance to the training center. On the 2nd floor there are classrooms of the center, which are illuminated by overhead light. There is also a transition between the buildings in the form of a glass bridge

Technical information

the building has a rack-and-beam frame system made of reinforced concrete. The pitch of the columns is 7500 mm, the height of the floors is 4500 mm. The height of the tower is 21500mm. There are rigid staircases made of reinforced concrete
