Kindergarten for 180 children

Project idea

The task of the project was to design a kindergarten for 180 children, to provide a sports hall, a music hall and a swimming pool in it. The kindergarten has everything you need for children: playrooms, bedrooms, a buffet in each children's cell. The building is constructed of reinforced concrete, the facades are finished with wood and metal. On the ground floor of the building there is a "game" wall, windows, namely their size and location resemble a children's toy. The materials and their color were specially selected, they are simple, natural and pleasant to the child's eye.

Project description

The main problem of kindergartens in Russia is mass, conveyor, simplicity and scarcity. This project is aimed at correcting this situation. Simple shapes, the possibility of erecting a concrete building, accessibility for the disabled, the use of natural and pleasant materials in combination with the appearance of the building resembling a children's toy should attract the child and make his pastime in the kindergarten enjoyable.

Technical information

The project is made in ArchiCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and Lumion. The drawings are arranged on one sheet. The project was carried out under the supervision of a group of managers-architects from SPbGASU.
