architecture allows us to operate and direct the daylight using specific time of day or solstice related to the seasons. the place was created for meditation and contact with light which is very important and valued especially in a place like Iceland or other countries located in a similar geographical zone

Project description

. the building is compact made of concrete is economical in form and expression allows you to focus only on the contemplation of the moment associated with
the ritual bath in the thermal pools. the building was completely buried in the ground and only lighted up by skylights in the roof. It does not interfere with nature, it only emphasizes its beauty because it does not transmit views.
descending the stairs like a symbolic cleansing, draws us inside.
