Project idea

VITREOUS is a Child Development Centre that focuses on developing child cognitive skill . The site located in Gombak,
Selangor and it takes care of 150 children. In formulating the design, the axis projection of nearest educational institutes
itself become the guidance to the design to reflect the community and institutional values towards the center.

Project description

When entering the lobby, children first discover is the central outdoor play area surrounded by trees, perfect for outdoor
learning activities and playing .The center is wrapping an outdoor area providing children with a constant visual and
physical connection to nature.

Technical information

The activities room is designed to be an open plan area where the children would be familiar and free . This will improve
children’s physical strength, attentiveness and self learning. Throughout the spaces, the children can access to the rooftop
garden from the central outdoor play.
