RESIDENTS' BASIC RIGHTS. THE EXPLOSION HAS
AFFECTED MANY DIFFERENT SECTORS THE
SERVICES SECTOR, AGRICULTURE, TOURISM, AND
INDUSTRIES. AFTER FACING MANY VARIOUS
CRISES ENDED UP WITH THE EXPLOSION.
LEBANESE PEOPLE TURNED TO BE HOMELESS
JOBLEss. AND HOPELESS. THE EXPLOSION HAS
SEPARATED THE PORT FROM THE CTY BY ADDING
A WALL OF FEAR AND PAIN BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BEIRUT AND THE PORT ZONE.

Project description

TODAY, MOST OF BEIRUT'S PORT RELIES IN RUINS,
REBUILDING THE PORT IS A RACE AGAINST THE
TIME
IT IS NOT JUST THE BUILDINGS, EVERYBODY
THINKS THAT THEIR SOULS HAVE BEEN SEVERELY
INJURED
THEREFORE, WE NEED SOMETHING TO
REGENERATE THE LIFE, PASSION, AND HOPE
WE NEED....... RE-BIRTH
THE PORT SHOULD BE THE BIRTHPLACE OF
FUTURIST BEIRUT

Technical information

we intend to design the building so that locally sourced materials, The use of local materials is the only option for a sustainable construction sector and a vital economy…. constructions are mainly with concrete and steel; we can see the glass cover a big portion of the facades with Islamic patterns made of temper assigned on the steel frames.

suspended bridges used in the project rely on arch structures with steel and cables connecting the bridge with the arch, this construction is effective with its stunning design and eye-catching lighting, it has become a great attraction

These elements all have important physical reasons for their use and provide both symbolic and important building vices for construction in the climate
