Project idea

The goal was to create a comfortable urban environment that will increase the comfort of living of citizens and attract tourists to a previously unexplored are a of the city.
The Genoa-Sanpiaderino district was chosen for modernization. The are a is known for it sport lifestyle , a large number of emigrants and a variety of buildings builtin the 00 s .

Project description

The analysis of the reconstructed territory was carried out and it was concluded that the port area of Sanpiaderino is the most interesting for our work.
We were inspired by the experience of world architects, the concept of High Line Park NY was especially interesting.
On the railway tracks there are skate playgrounds, playgrounds, bike paths, sports fields, various small architectural forms and many tourist attraction objects.
We have also provided additional transport arteries that are located under the pedestrian zone.
We have created many zones for the activities of city residents and
tourists. The emphasis was placed on details, such as weather vanes, which could
generate energy, in addition, it is these weather vanes located on
the embankment of Genoa and are part of the Il Bigo ensemble made by the Italian architect Renzo Piano.
