Project idea

Bal island is located in a very attractive and high potential location on Al Dahab Island, surrounded by the Nile River, Giza Governorate in Egypt. It’s considered to be part of the island development plans. Bal island targets multi-users from Autism to Alzheimer's patients, and introduces a new concept of agri-healing, the main concept was to find a unique balance between the high activity of autistic children in cooperation with the calmness of Alzheimer's elder patients.

Project description

The master plan consists of two main zones for each disease with a common integrated heart of healing gardens blending the two zones together, each one with its different activities and connecting the two user experiences together in one green heart. The harmony between the project components is completed by the harmony with the site topography to reach the level of privacy in each zone and user.

Project Theme: Agri- healing.

Project Location: The project is on Dahab Island, located in the metropolitan region of Cairo, the island belongs to Giza and has a strong agricultural character.

Project Area: 40 acres.
