Death...as morbid as a concept it is, is inevitable. For people with terminal illnesses and no cure in sight, it is a concept that they are in denial of, and the ones that have accepted it, have no place to take refuge from the constant reminder of it.
so this project focuses on the well-being and pain alleviation of such patients, as possible, during their final days. It fulfills the patient’s physical, mental and emotional needs.
The project consists of a ground floor and two floors
The ground floor consists of four zones (reception - dining - medical section - workshops)
The first floor, which is the link between the ground floor and the second floor, and contains (children's rooms - nursing rooms - another zone for workshops with a swimming pool) and we were keen to provide an upper yard in which children play And be close to sick children to get positive energy from watching their friends play
The second floor consists of children's rooms and nursing rooms only
And we provided the basement yard with interactive places such as a small theater and places to draw on the walls so that each child leaves his footprint in the hospice
