Project idea

POLIPO is a building in its form that resembles the flexibility of the octopus with its curves that help to redirect the winds to provide the possible amount of natural ventilation, as well as the narrow corridors create a difference in air pressure, which supports the formation of wind flow, as well as the vertical ripples inspired by the body of the octopus represent the same role of domes in reducing temperatures on roof.

Project description

The project attempts to present another concept for Entertainment and commercial buildings with an attempt to reduce energy and environmental pollutants and move towards natural sources of ventilation and lighting The building consists of 135 shops, games hall, administrative area and market all around a courtyard and below them parking for 200 cars and stores.

Technical information

The steel structure of the building for its flexibility and coverage of large areas with the use of curtainwalls, gypsum and aluminum panels.
