Project idea

What makes Isfahan's old bridges valuable is the view they have of the pedestrian, the man who walks, thinks and watches, hears, relaxes and has fun. The body of these bridges has met all these needs and provided suitable conditions for their occurrence. Because there is a greater need for such thinking in design today more than ever before; Therefore, designing a collection inspired by these behavioral patterns can probably be effective in other architectural structures.

Project description

The recreational function of the building can be seen in the way the lower level is crossed, the platforms between the lower level arches, the formation of the upper level side porches, the way of accommodation, water-assisted landscaping, the creation of eastern stepped platforms and the presence of pavilions

Technical information

One of the main features of these bridges is to create a different space, in addition to the passage space. Due to the structural structure of Iranian bridges and the use of sharp arches, the way of transferring forces is such that it is possible to create empty space in the body of the bridge.
