Project idea

Purity is the main concept for my project that creates a connection with nature to showcase the value of how nature is being appreciated The main objectives are to design spaces to help empower and raise the economy of the Semai people. Also to design the building by combining natural features with passive design strategies to create a sustainable building that prohibits harmful the environment.

Project description

The vision is to create an Orang Asli Semai Pasaa where the target group for this building is for the natives of Semai people to growth. This pasaa aims to help the natives empower themselves and as a place for them to raise their economy. It is something relatively new to the Semai community with the emergence of fields that brings benefit to Semai people in term of culture and economy as well as tourist attractions to outside visitors.

The pasaa will provide facilities, amenities and land to support natives of Semai people to start introducing the origins and activities they do to visitors. This is to clinch that the natives are always abreast of current developments. It’s a big loss if the greatness of Semai is kept and not shown to the outside world because the talent possessed by Semai people is very unique and it is something that can enhance their economy. Towards a bright future for Semai people, it is critical for the development of Orang Asli Semai Pasaa to assist empower themselves so that they are not left behind in this contemporary era.
