In this 21 century, it is derived a new economy system which is Gig economy. The Gig economy is based on flexible, temporary or freelance jobs, often involving connecting with clients or customers through an online platform. It can be benefit workers, business and consumer by making work more adaptable to the needs of the moment and demand for flexible lifestyles. For example, online seller, ride-hailing, freelance designer, youtubers, etc.
The “hyper-City” aims to provide a space for Gig economy to grow. To provide one scheme which can be manage in short path and long demand, modular building system is come and play. The building modular system is an optimal solution because the low cost of implementation and short construction time which more affordable for the locals. This system is categories in three which are residential area, commercial and recreational area and services area. The SOHO (small office home office) modular units is designed to allow residents to customize their space depending on their budget. The modular units are run by individual for Gig economy while the communal space like open kitchen, small theater, courtyard, etc. is besides the residential area to bring the people out. By doing so, the residents can gather and rest out from the work which allow a balance between work and leisure. It also an open space for them to share their experience and knowledge of the Gig economy
Gig economy as a new trend for future. Therefore, the “hyper-City” can be expand over time with the modular building system for extra units to be added for increasing of Gig economy workers. Last, the “hyper-City” is designed for Gig economy to be “flexible, economical and easy to build”.
This modular system is used because it has low cost of implementation and short construction period which more affordable by the locals for running Gig economy.
The building element like wall panel, floor panel is controlled manufacture in factory and transport to site. The building materials like steel structure from the explosion site is recycle, process and reuse. The modular unit will be install on site and assembly become final product.
